Hydra-Projects is a full-service consulting brand, perfecting the art of small business development.
With a background in architectural design and construction management, and an education from Parsons and NYU, Whitney diligently manages every project she's involved with, from the initial walk-thru to punch list, including client interface, in situ design decisions, coordinating trades, and on-the-fly problem-solving.
As a project manager with City & Stone, Whitney designed and oversaw the company’s residential and retail projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Previously, Whitney worked at Sawyer | Berson Architects, NYC, where she was a Junior Designer and 3D Visualizer of high-end residential home renovations in Manhattan, as well as ground-up construction projects in the Hamptons.
Before S|B she worked at hospitality design firm ICRAVE, and managed Openhouse, an award-winning pop-up real estate and experiential marketing production company. At Openhouse she produced multimillion dollar events and showroom installations for Fortune 500 companies.
Whitney has participated in international design workshops, including Design- Apart in Venice and Milan in 2015. At graduation from the Master of Architecture program at the Parsons School of Design, her architectural thesis project ‘Union Square Inversion’ was published and archived, and she received the Golden Portfolio award for her overall body of work.
In addition to an M.Arch from The New School, Whitney earned her Bachelor of Science in Studio Art from New York University, and holds a New York Real Estate Salesperson license. A Colorado native, she resides in Brooklyn with her husband.
